About Me

My name is Christiane Micke and I live in Ahrensburg together with my husband, our three children and our animals. Ahrensburg is really close to Hamburg. After giving birth to our second child, I quit working as a travel agent, which is the trade I had once learned. From then on I had been looking for something to do in return for the not so exciting life of a housewife.

About five years ago I started to create graphics and to set up smaller private Webpages. Almost two years ago I founded a Yahoo learning group, which dealt with the Paint Shop Pro programme. Together with many voluntary helpers we have approximated this programme to a lot of people.
 

After that I met my fate and got infected with the Reborn-virus. Maybe you feel like I did ans you ask yourself: "Rebornbabies? What´s that?" Well, I asked this exact question a very dear saleslady, from whom I had purchased a "normal" babydoll. Believe me ... this is, how it all got started. I bought my first Rebornbaby and was thrilled. Soon a second one followed, then number three and four for my daughters. My Mom bought the next one. Every time I browsed through Ebay, I found a doll which I was crazy about.

Well, you can see here, what followed next: I started remodeling dolls into small babies. I love to experiment with all those different materials and to create a realistic Rebornbaby by doing that. I probably would have given up right away, if there weren´t some lovely reborners in Germany and the USA, who did not get tired of giving some really good advise to me. In the beginning I had no idea about how much work and time I had to invest, to come up with highly qualitative Rebornbabies.
